Specializing in Action Adventure Sports Photography, Freya graduated in 2010 from Colorado Mountain College with an AAS in Professional Photography. Freya shoots editorial and commercial lifestyle and action images with an emphasis on authenticity and real sports people doing what they love. Born into kayaking, Freya has paddled her own boat since she was 5 years old. Her photographic work follows her passion for sport and adventure. Freya is an avid sea kayaker, rock climber, snowboarder, surfer, mountaineer, cyclist and slack liner, among other things. Creating great images in difficult situations where she has to rely on her imagination and familiarity with a broad number of outdoor sports is where she thrives. “While I love to go to the worlds most exotic locations I feel the most pride when I make a difficult or seemingly boring situation into a stunning image. Being a professional photographer is about finding the beauty in every place and using your skill to capture that and bring it to your clients.”
