February 6- onsite m9

Today was a blast; I kept finding myself in the right place at the right time. Went out to Redstone for the second day of Winterfest, found a wild group of rock and ice folk headed up to some heinous overhung mixed ice and rock climbing. For those of you who don’t know, this mostly consists of dangling semi upside upside-down on thin crimpers the size of a babies fingernail, on the iron adds of an ice axe. In this photo renowned Canadian climber Will Gadd onsites an M9. Soon after he put up the first assent of an M10, but those pictures are being saved for my new website, (coming soon) sorry folks! Oh yeah latter he did a free solo of a 100 plus foot w4-5 those pics will be on my website someday too.
