The Port Townsend Marine Science Center is re-building the skeleton of a female Ocra whale that was found beached and full of toxic contaminants. Her skeleton is going to be part of an exhibit that discusses topics such as ocean health and underwater sound communication.
I was able to stop buy as they were putting the skeleton together this week. The whale skeleton will be on display for free this weekend February 11-13th at the Port Townsend Marine Science Center. It is amazing to see what one of these beautiful creatures looks like inside.
